A Border Crisis, Orphaned Children, Brokenness and Desperation, What Can God’s Church Do?
Be it the concerns at the Mexican border, orphaned little ones and widowed women of Ukraine, or the reversal of Roe v. Wade, there is one constant: brokenness. Scripture says, “As you have done unto the least of these, you have done unto me.” (Matt. 25:40) But what can be done, and how can we do it? America has long been the city on the hill, saving and intervening for those mistreated, yet every day the needs within our own communities threaten our hope. Do we get lost in the brokenness or is it easier to become jaded? Dave Donaldson and Wendell Vinson pull back the curtain on the crises that threaten our homeland, revealing a God who can speak to the wind and waves of destruction, calm the seas, meet any need, and desires to use each of us, right where we are, to bring hope and healing in the midst of the storm.
